Skill Building and Movement Exploration

For all ages 8+.

In this class, you will focus on building movement skills with guidance and assistance from the coaches. We will focus on one specific skill (such as handstands, pull-ups, shrimp squats, cartwheels etc.) for 8 sessions at a time. It doesn't matter what level you're at, as this is your time to work on get better!

After a group warm-up, you will have ample opportunity to practice the movement skill and receive feedback from the coach and your peers. There may be some short "class lectures" and coach-directed activities depending on needs and skill levels. You may also have an opportunity to play with the movement and explore how you can use your body with the movements. You will then work a short circuit or other activity to help build the associated strength and conditioning needed for the skill. Finally, you will have a cool-down and time to ask any further questions related to the class activities.
